Types of Membership
There are two types of membership: Individual and Institutional. Both receive the same benefits. Member institutions receive two copies of each DEANZ publication and may send two staff members to any DEANZ function at a discounted rate. Membership Benefits - As a member you will become part of the growing national and international distance and open learning community.
- DEANZ has three publications which you will receive free:
- the Journal of Distance Learning, an international, referred, high quality journal published annually. It contains articles about current research and practice in distance and open learning;
- the DEANZ newsletter, published at least twice a year, keeps you up-to-date with national and local activities and developments;
- A biennial membership directory.
- As a member you will be eligible to apply for the DEANZ Award which was established in 1993 to encourage research and development in distance and open learning.
- DEANZ holds a biennial conference which is a forum for presenting research papers, sharing good practice, showcasing technological developments and listening to national and international keynote speakers.
You may attend regional DEANZ seminars and workshops held annually.

If you paid by direct banking please let Katherine know so we can process your application more quickly. Otherwise we won't know you have paid until the monthly bank statement arrives.
