Quality Connections, Boundless Possiblities:
Through Open, Flexible and Distance Learning

Applications for the DEANZ Award 2010 should be linked to the conference theme. Interpretations of the theme will be broad, but may include reference to...

Quality – illustrating dimensions of quality through a variety of quality measures.

Connections - focusing on notions of connectedness, including opportunities for collaboration in synchronous and asynchronous modes. Highlighting the benefits of such connections in terms of who is being connected, and the outcomes for learning.

Boundless Possibilities – implies both the aspirational and innovative nature of the project and its outcomes, as well as the idea of crossing boundaries – between disciplines, between institutions, between nations etc.

Through open, flexible and distance learning – all of which is accomplished in the field of open, flexible and distance learning. Applications should illustrate an understanding of the principals, research and theory of these disciplines.

There will also be an emphasis at the Conference on:
