Delegates may be interested in attending a one day Moodle event which will take place in Te Papa immediately after the DEANZ conference. Moodle Mini Moot will have some excellent local and international keynote speakers.

The website can be accessed from the following link.http://www.moodlemoot.org.nz/

The following workshop is available before the DEANZ conference.

ePortfolios: Practical Scenarios of Personalised Learning
ePortfolios provide a wide range of opportunities for reflective and social learning in personal, educational and professional contexts.

This event will discuss some practical scenarios of using ePortfolios and demonstrate how they can be used to support a personalised learning experience that extends beyond the boundaries of the face-to-face or online classroom or workplace to facilitate:

*     Documentation of knowledge, skills, abilities and learning
*     Tracking personal and professional development
*     Defining, developing and embarking on a career path
*     Monitoring and evaluating personal and professional performance
*     Sharing and collaboration
*     Assessment strategies that demonstrate the whole learning experience not just the outcome
